My interest in health and healing began age 14 when I started practising yoga, first from a library book, and then at a local yoga class that I attended with my mum and sister.
Ever since then, I have explored various methods and approaches to health and well-being including Chinese Medicine, yoga and myofascial release (MFR). I have over 20 years experience working as a therapist. I specialise in Craniosacral therapy (CST) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My focus is on helping you to engage with and awaken the natural and innate healing abilities of the mind and body. I have particular interest in helping people identify and transform the blocks that obstruct their movement towards mental, emotional and physical wellness and wellbeing.
I use Craniosacral therapy, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and IFS either separately or integrated together, as a way to enable you to enter into a healing dialogue with mind and body. The physical and emotional stresses that are within us have or have had a purpose, and often a story to tell. The more we can listen to and engage with curiosity and compassion into our issues, the more likely we are to find the way back to wellness.
I believe our thoughts, feelings and emotions are intricately entwined within the body as a somatic ‘felt-sense’. You cannot approach one without having an impact on the others, for they are inseparable.
I live in South Devon and my spare time is often spent mountain biking or listening to vinyl on my ever evolving vintage hifi system!
